本校の生徒が、ニュージーランドのケンブリッジ高校での1年間の留学プログラムの折り返し地点を迎えました。本人からの報告によると、毎日が素晴らしい経験に満ちているとのことです。この新しいパートナーシップの第1号生徒として参加している彼は、まさに先駆者であり、今後の交流プログラムの礎を築いてくれています。

この5か月間、現地の学校行事やスポーツに積極的に参加し、たくさんの友人をつくり、異文化の中での生活を楽しんでいます。日を追うごとに自信と自立心、そして国際的な視野が広がっている様子が伝わってきます。

このプログラムは、本校の国際交流活動における新たな一歩であり、彼がその一翼を担っていることを誇りに思います。後半の5か月間でどのような成長を遂げるのか、今からとても楽しみです。

One of our 10th grade students has just reached the halfway point of his year-long exchange program at Cambridge High School in New Zealand, and by all accounts, he is having an amazing experience. As the very first student to take part in this brand new partnership, he is a true pioneer—helping to lay the foundation for what we hope will be many years of successful exchanges between our school and Cambridge High.

Over the past five months, he has embraced every opportunity, from participating in local school events and sports, to making new friends and experiencing daily life in a different culture. His growing confidence, independence, and international awareness are clear indicators of how valuable this experience is proving to be.

This program marks an exciting new chapter in our international offerings, and we are proud of the role he is playing in building strong global connections. We can’t wait to see what the second half of his journey brings.
