今週、ニュージーランドでの五カ月間の留学を終えた生徒が帰国しました。

留学中は現地での学校生活を送りながら、ニュージーランドならではの文化や生活を体験し、多くの友人との出会いを通して、大きく成長して帰ってきました。英語力も大きく向上し、現地で過ごした日々が実り多いものだったことが伝わってきます。

本校のニュージーランド留学プログラムは、近年、本校で最も人気のある留学プログラムの一つとなっています。これまで多くの生徒を温かく受け入れてくださっている提携校 Cambridge High School の先生方、そしてホストファミリーの皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。

また、多くの生徒の希望に応えるため、2027年度からは新たに Hamilton Girls’ High School と提携し、女子生徒向けの新しい留学先としてプログラムを開始する予定です。

現在は、もう1名の生徒が十カ月間の長期留学プログラムに参加しており、11月の帰国に向けて充実した留学生活を送っています。

また、来年度のニュージーランド留学プログラム（五カ月・十カ月）の募集も現在受付中です。興味のある生徒は、ぜひこの貴重な機会にチャレンジしてください。

This week, we welcomed home one of our students after she completed a five-month exchange program in New Zealand.

During her time abroad, she experienced everyday school life in New Zealand, learned about a different culture, made many new friends, and grew tremendously through the experience. Her English also improved significantly, and it is clear that her time overseas was both rewarding and memorable.

Our New Zealand exchange program has become one of the most popular study abroad opportunities at Nigawa Gakuin in recent years. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our partner school, Cambridge High School, along with the teachers, staff, and host families who have continued to provide our students with such a rewarding experience.

To meet the growing interest in the program, we are also pleased to announce that, from 2027, we will be partnering with Hamilton Girls’ High School, providing an additional exchange option for our female students.

Another of our students is still in New Zealand and will continue his ten-month exchange program until November. We look forward to hearing more about his experiences when he returns.

Applications for next year’s New Zealand exchange programs are now well underway. Both the five-month and ten-month options are available, and we hope many students will consider taking part in this valuable opportunity.
