姉妹校であるオーストラリアのマウント・アルヴァーナ・カレッジとパドゥア・カレッジから5名の留学生が二週間の留学プログラムで来校しました。ちょうど学院祭の時期と重なり、日本の学校行事の中でも特に盛り上がる学院祭をクラスの仲間と一緒に楽しむことができました。

留学生たちはホームルームでの授業や部活動に参加し、多くの友達を作りながら日本での学校生活を満喫しました。週末には関西各地を観光し、日本の歴史や文化、食べ物に触れる素晴らしい経験となりました。

今回の留学は、受け入れをしてくださった5つのホストファミリーにとっても大変意義深いものでした。日本の生活を紹介しながらオーストラリアについて学ぶ貴重な機会となり、心より感謝申し上げます。今後も多くの生徒が留学生の受け入れに挑戦してくれることを期待しています。

Five students from our Australian sister schools, Mount Alvernia College and Padua College, recently joined us at Nigawa Gakuin for a two-week exchange program. Their visit coincided perfectly with one of the most exciting events of the school year—the School Festival. They were able to participate in activities with their homeroom classes, make many new friends, join club activities, and experience the unique energy and spirit of our festival.

Throughout their stay, the students immersed themselves in Japanese school life and made great progress in their Japanese language skills. On weekends, they enjoyed sightseeing in the Kansai region and were amazed by the history, culture, and food that Japan has to offer.

This program was especially meaningful for the five host families, who not only welcomed the students into their homes but also shared their culture while learning about Australia. We sincerely thank the families and buddies for their support, and we hope that even more Nigawa students will take the opportunity to host visiting students in the future.
